This topic goes to the very heart of ARF's existence. Our focus is the Amazon and AliExpress marketplaces, but the issues are probably the same for any kind of user-posted review on any website.

So do Amazon and AliExpress own the copyrights to product reviews? Emphatically No!

Why would they want ownership? If they have ownership, then they are responsible for the content and that would create unwanted legal liabilities. The marketplaces would become responsible when a review's inaccuracy creates problems for a buyer.

US, Hong Kong and International copyright law, as well as Amazon and AliExpress terms, do not assign review copyrights to the marketplaces.

As per Amazon's Conditions of Use page:

If you do post content or submit material, and unless we indicate otherwise, you grant Amazon a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, perform, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content throughout the world in any media. You grant Amazon and sublicensees the right to use the name that you submit in connection with such content, if they choose.

AliExpress's Terms of Use are similar but use more complex language.

Please do not take this information as legal advice. If you have any concerns or want more details on a different country's laws, please consult with an attorney.

This is an exciting moment for ARF. We kept the initials, but we changed the name. We went from Amz Review Fetch to A Review Fetch.

Why? Because ARF has added the collection ofAliExpress reviews to our services. Best of all, we've held the line on prices!

Who needs AliExpress reviews?

A Review Fetch is excited to release this new exclusive feature. It has never been easier to display Amazon reviews on any web site.  Why display reviews? Because they increase sales!

ARF makes it easy for users to import Amazon ASINs, then a trained ARF retriever fetches the reviews for those ASINs. Easily display those reviews anywhere! In an ecommerce store, a blog, an Amazon affiliate site.

Sometimes the reviews will fit easily on a page, sometimes there is no space. Don't worry, ARF has your back! ARF provides two ways of displaying reviews. When there's no space, use a popup that only requires one line on the page. When there's ample space, embed the reviews. Here are examples of the two display methods, with default formatting.

Why? Does the web really need another service for Amazon sellers? Yes! Yes, because the process of managing and using reviews should be frictionless.

A manufacturers' best chance for a review modification is to respond fast and deal with the problem. Checking competitor's reviews can provide a competitive advantage. Amazon retailers can optimize stocking levels and identify products to resell. Positive reviews could be an indicator to increase inventory. Negative reviews could be an indicator to discontinue the product.
